Jui-Lin Hu is a passionate, classically trained flutist, chamber musician, and orchestral player based in Baton Rouge, LA and Kaohsiung, Tainan, Taichung, Taiwan.

A versatile performer, he has played with various ensembles, including the Taipei Symphony Orchestra, National Taiwan Youth Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, New Music Ensemble of Indiana University Bloomington, and the Wind Ensemble of the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra.

As a flutist, Jui-Lin regularly gives recitals on diverse themes, seeking to explore additional flute repertoire and to rediscover lesser-known composers and works. Committed to expanding the flute repertoire, he has performed at numerous venues and festivals across the United States, Asia, and Europe, presenting solo recitals, chamber music, and orchestral works.

As an educator, Jui-Lin currently serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Louisiana State University. He has a solid background in theory, music history, and pedagogy, and more than eight years of teaching experience with students of varying ages and levels. He enjoys growing alongside his students and fostering their passion for music.

Jui-Lin is pursuing his doctoral degree at Louisiana State University, studying with Dr. Katherine Kemler. He completed his master’s degree at the Jacobs School of Music, Indiana University. His primary teachers include Thomas Robertello, Hwei-Jin Liu, Yu-Fei Lin (Piccolo), Pei-San Chiu, Shang-Jung Lin, and Kathie Stewart (Baroque flute).​
